Hot Scots, Castles, and
Kilts.
Michigan teenager Sami Ames is in for a huge culture
shock when she visits Scotland and her long-lost
relatives. With dreams of hot Scottish men with “steamy
bodies and come-hither charm”, Sami is prepared
to experience a month like no other.
But Scotland isn’t quite
what Sami expected. For one thing,
her digs at MacKensie Manor are
less than luxurious.
Her ancestors’ home lacks electricity and running water,
and Sami has no access to anything from the 21st century.
It appears the place is haunted as well, which Sami experiences
firsthand when she has a conversation with a centuries-old
ghost. Not exactly the picture-perfect vacation she had hoped
for.
When Sami spots the hot Adan McClintogg, a member of a
rival clan family, she thinks that her Scottish stay might
just
be looking up. Especially since Adan likes her as well. Adan
resides in the castle next door, and blows away any of the
American boys Sami’s ever dated. The only downside
to her summer romance is the fact that he’s a member
of the family that the MacKensies have a long and painful
history with, and whom her cousin, Fiona, despises.
As the summer progresses, Sami finds herself performing exhausting
manual labor as she fixes us the castle, plays matchmaker
for Fiona, and acts as a medium for spirits stuck in limbo.
All while nurturing a budding relationship with hot Scot
Adan. This Scottish summer is sure to be as scorching as
Adan looks in a kilt in Hot Scots, Castles, and Kilts.
